PMS Aluminium’s new factory in TEKNOSAB counts the days for opening

  • PMS Aluminium, the pioneer of domestic and national production in the aluminium industry, continues to work at full speed in its 4th factory, which it plans to build in TEKNOSAB, a new generation industrial zone that will add strength to Turkey’s advanced technology targets.

 

  • PMS Aluminium Board Member Merve Önsever Çağlayan stated that the new factory, which will be built on 100 decares of land, will include the latest technological devices and production lines and that the factory will be commissioned in 2022.

PMS Aluminium, which has been producing in the aluminium sector since 1988 and is one of the most important producers of the sector in Turkey, continues to develop and grow rapidly with new investments.

PMS Aluminium Board Member Merve Önsever Çağlayan stated that the new factory, which will be built on 100 decares of land, will include the latest technological devices and production lines.

 

Önsever said that casting and press assemblies have started in the factory, which will operate by generating its own electricity, and that the TEKNOSAB factory, equipped with modern technology and environmentally friendly investments, will be commissioned in 2022.

 

Stating that they operate in the construction, automotive, rail systems, defence industry, white goods, machinery industry, electrical electronics, solar energy and sound insulation sectors, PMS Aluminium Board Member Merve Önsever Çağlayan said that they continue to work with a total annual production capacity of 60 thousand tons of extrusion profiles and flat products. Çağlayan stated that they export to 45 countries and said, ‘We closely follow the developing technology and constantly improve ourselves. We produce in line with the expectations of our customers and carry out highly successful works all over the world.”

 

To be built on 100 acres of land

 

Underlining that they continue to grow rapidly with the slogan ‘We add experience to the future’, Çağlayan said that TEKNOSAB is a huge project that will make a great contribution to both the economy of Bursa and the economy of Turkey, and that they continue to work at full speed for the factory they aim to build in the region.

 

Çağlayan said, ‘We will have a fully integrated production structure in the factory we will realise in TEKNOSAB. We will also establish an R&D Centre in our factory. With this investment, we aim to feed all our production processes with the most modern technology. In the initial phase, we are installing a 4 thousand tonne press in our factory.”

 

Stating that they have made a strong cooperation with the world giant Danieli Breda company for the first press and that they will produce high magnesium alloys with this cooperation, Çağlayan noted that the factory will include the latest technological devices and production lines that will offer the most accurate solutions to the demands of customers.

 

We will increase our design and R&D power

 

Pointing out that they will realise a unique press investment in Turkey and in the world, Çağlayan said, ‘We are carrying out very successful works with our engineering experience and extrusion know-how. With our new factory, we will increase our design and R&D power. As PMS Aluminium, we contribute to our country with our experienced and strong structure from the past, our wide product range and we are taking firm steps towards the future.”

 

Stating that they act with the priority of domestic and national production, Çağlayan noted that they will continue to produce with the principle of continuous development and meet the aluminium needs of different sectors in the highest quality.
