This situation has great benefits in terms of both the economy it will provide to the fuel costs of the drivers and the reduction of waste exhaust gas emitted into the atmosphere in terms of environmental health. The most important properties of aluminium are its lightness and resistance to corrosion caused by water and road salts, even if it is unpainted or uncoated. Galvanising, coating or painting, which are necessary for steel and bring additional costs, may not be necessary for aluminium. If the paint is scratched or removed, aluminium does not rust like steel materials and continues to provide corrosion resistance. It is also a key material for weight reduction without compromising safety, comfort and security.
Aluminium, which can be used for many different purposes in the automotive sector depending on the production method, is mainly used in visual accessories, bodywork and safety equipment.
