Casting
We operate three continuous-casting lines. 1xxx, 3xxx, 5xxx and 8xxx series alloys are cast up to 1,600 mm wide. Annual capacity of our sheet plant is 36,000 tonnes.
Sheet and Coil Plant
Cold rolling
Plain and tread products up to 1,600 mm wide are rolled from 6.00 mm to 0.30 mm with automatic gauge control. Tread patterns: classic 5-bar, diamond and duet.
Annealing furnaces
In two annealing furnaces, recrystallisation, recovery and homogenising anneals are carried out according to the end use. Homogenising annealing produces deep-drawable products.
Washing – stretching
Surface cleaning of products from 0.30–3.00 mm thick and up to 1,525 mm wide is carried out on the washing, rinsing and straightening (stretching) line.
Slitting lines
We operate two slitting lines. Fine slitting processes 0.30–1.50 mm product down to 30 mm width; heavy slitting processes 1.00–6.00 mm coils down to 200 mm width.
Cut-to-length lines
On two cut-to-length lines, aluminium coil is cut into sheet from 0.50–6.00 mm thick and up to 6,000 mm long.
Perforating
On our perforating line we produce sheet coil and plate in 1xxx, 3xxx and 5xxx alloys with the required hole sizes. Sound-insulation panels are supported by this production.
